About The Position

We are looking for a Maintenance/Electrical Planner in Jerome, Idaho. The Maintenance/Electrical Planner will focus on developing a comprehensive library of detailed job plans for maintenance tasks and maintaining accurate records of equipment specifications and parts inventories to ensure the efficient execution of maintenance activities. The role of a Maintenance/Electrical Planner is to prepare work requests promptly for scheduling, to optimize the MTTR (mean time to repair). This position will also ensure that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Use CMMS software to schedule operations and maintenance work activities in a manner that ensures project resources are efficiently allocated to support applicable phases of operations. Responsible for planning, scheduling and organizing the efficient operation and performance of work assignments. Develop operations and maintenance work packages and instructions to support work activities, including pre-planning, material staging requisitioning/expediting, labor estimating, and all other field support as required. Monitor assignments to ensure they are within the agreed scope, schedule and budget, and that the work is being performed within outlined policies and expectations. Review engineering plans and product specifications to determine raw material requirements and support operation schedules. Work with Purchasing to obtain and schedule materials based upon production forecasts. Work with Plant Engineering and related design areas to develop tools and instructions that maximize facility and equipment performance. Anticipate and eliminate potential delays through planning and coordination of manpower, parts and materials, and equipment access. Develop and maintain productive relationships with the production team, maintenance team, Production Supervisors, and local contractors. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in maintenance planning or scheduling experience required.
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and field-specific software.

Nice To Haves

  • Diploma in maintenance, electromechanics, mechanical engineering or other relevant training preferred.
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
