Requirements

  • 10+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • 10+ years' experience in automation and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with quality control procedures.
  • Good leadership abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good safety, behavior, and attendance record.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  • Willingness to work outside in all weather extremes.
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to lift objects of various dimensions and up to 75 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the performance of day-to-day maintenance operations.
  • Assist in training and developing a safe and efficient hourly workforce through use of the company's safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that proper personnel are dispatched to ongoing issues.
  • Ensure that all hourly employees receive competent task training and that such training is documented.
  • Assist management in investigating production incidents and safety concern reports.
  • Manage daily activities of all hourly production, maintenance, and support personnel.
  • Conduct regular maintenance oversight inspections.
  • Evaluate processes and procedures and give recommendations to optimize operations.
  • Assist management with reporting requirements.
  • Ensure all plant equipment is properly maintained.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections.
  • Responsible for overall housekeeping including plant, equipment, and shop.
  • Comprehend and complete all needed paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform work in a safe manner that protects and promotes health and well-being.
