About The Position

This Lead position will support the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Team, and Production Team in a specific area of the mill. Expectations include, but not limited to leading the area Maintenance Team in safe and timely responses to mill issues, ensuring NYS policies and procedures are followed, participating and leading in electrical day support functions, assisting their supervisor in managing issues related to personnel, and coaching their teammates in personal technical development and continuous improvement. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

• 5 years' experience with electrical, automation, and power systems.
• 3 years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor's Degree of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Nice To Haves

• Rockwell and Emerson PLC experience.
• FactoryTalk View ME and SE experience.
• Wonderware HMI experience.
