Our multidisciplinary team includes chemists, biologists, geneticists, agronomists, logistics, and production specialists. Additionally, we have a JV association with Firmenich, the world’s largest privately held Fragrance and Flavor company. Work Schedule – Mon-Fri, 8-4:30 (extended hours or weekend work maybe required if projects require)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Highly organized and incredibly self-sufficient; yet have ability to learn and adapt to new and changing circumstances
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, (in English), possess basic mathematical skills. Proficient in MS Office and SAP
  • Must be able to work in areas that have low to moderate noise level and often present strong odors
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) (i.e., steel toed shoes)

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on special projects and performing general maintenance throughout the facility (eg. HVAC, grounds maintenance), in addition to production.
  • Repair and replace equipment (eg. pumps, motors, agitators, centrifuges, boilers)
  • Assist in planning, purchasing, and installation of equipment associated with production (eg. new piping, new tanks, bypasses)
  • Maintain a clean and organized processing area.
  • Maintain and operate production units within the facility, including boiler operation, continuous tower distillation unit, and batch unit processing
  • Operate forklift to transfer materials between warehouses and working areas.
  • Clean equipment when needed and ensure it is in excellent and safe working condition
  • Understand and execute paperwork associated with production orders
  • Manage inventory of production/maintenance supplies and order as needed.
  • Keep all paperwork, production orders, shipping and inventory up to date
  • Pump up mint oil blends, operate centrifuge, pump finished blends into finished product drums.
  • Memorize the codes and understand all the oil types in use
