About The Position

St. Cloud Carefree Living is looking for a Full-time Maintenance Director/Supervisor to join our growing and established Assisted Living community in St. Cloud, MN. Schedule : Position is full-time days, Monday - Friday, on-call as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform maintenance tasks to maintain the facility in a safe condition. Preventative maintenance General repairs Ensure yard and parking area is clean at all times, keep sidewalk swept in summer and free of snow and ice in winter. Painting and adjustments to building systems. Equipment and fixture repairs Garbage removal Operational efficiency and cost effectiveness Personal safety within the 95 unit building and grounds of the facility. This role will provide supervision and leadership for the Maintenance staff to ensure that they have the proper tools and equipment necessary to complete the essential functions of their job. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and accurately follow through on work activities to meet timelines as well as to work independently with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision. Two-year technical degree or equivalent in building maintenance or related field is preferred. Display positive work habits and willingness to accept new tasks as needed. Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal and cooperative relationships with management, staff, residents and residents' family. Candidates will be subject to a criminal background study and must be able to meet the mental and physical requirements of the position.
