About The Position

The Maintenance Director is responsible for the overall operation of the Maintenance department in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years' maintenance experience
  • Proven knowledge of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Knowledgeable of local building codes and ordinances

Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and direct maintenance programs
  • Schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements
  • Inspect equipment/systems regularly for proper functioning and safety
  • Run errands, handling incoming and outgoing freight, and lift and move heavy furniture and equipment
  • Recruit, select, hire, evaluate, train, counsel, and supervise maintenance staff
  • Perform duties as a Maintenance Assistant as needed
  • Effectively manage and operate within budget
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients
  • Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
  • Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team

  • Annual Pay Rate Minimum: $60,320
  • Annual Pay Rate Maximum: $66,560
  • Shift: 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Weekdays)
  • Must take On-Call
