About The Position
Atlantic Shores Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in beautiful Millsboro, DE is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead our Maintenance Department. The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility. The Maintenance Director will work closely with the Administrator to ensure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner for all residents and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Maintenance Department, its programs, and activities. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining written maintenance policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements. Assisting the maintenance staff in the development and use of departmental policies, procedures, equipment, and supplies will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be required to make written and oral reports and recommendations to the Administrator as necessary or required concerning the operation of the Maintenance Department. This position is crucial in ensuring that the facility operates smoothly and meets all safety and health standards, providing a high-quality environment for our residents.
