We are looking for someone that is fully knowledgeable in all building systems, safety stands and state and federal compliance regulations. Knowledge of all emergency systems and a history of making sound decisions regarding the maintenance and integrity of these systems is a must! We are looking for a leader that is a strategic planner, has an excellent ability to manage, supervise and educate their staff. Other responsibilities include: maintaining building repairs, capital item replacements, and managing expenses and projects.   • Oversee and provide maintenance for the entire community
  • Monitor and evaluate outside contractors
  • Arrange fire drills and maintain safety documentation
  • Develop and implement building and equipment preventative maintenance programs
  • Possess in depth technical understanding involved with repairs and preventative maintenance of heating systems, plumbing, environmental systems, general repairs and construction
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid NYS license
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to prioritize demands, lead a team and make sound decisions
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Computer skills to include Word, Excel and other online systems
