What you’ll do: The Brass Tacks Enter and track work orders Attend safety committee meetings Perform basic general maintenance tasks under direct supervision of maintenance staff Assist with light landscaping and outdoor upkeep projects Organize, label, inventory, and refill supplies Assist with guestroom preventative maintenance inspections under supervision Observe maintenance repairs and projects being conducted as a learning opportunity The Nitty Gritty This is a 12-week internship for a current high school student (age 16+) interested in pursuing a career in maintenance Ability to follow all safety procedures, company policies, and instructions given by supervisor Ability to work cooperatively with other team members and departments Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new systems Don’t meet every single requirement? Requirements
