About The Position

Capable of fabricating erecting assigned tasks using various types of metals; stainless steel galvanized black iron. Ranging from angle iron channel iron round flat stock etc. Capable of performing the 3 major types of welding TIG welding ARC welding MIG welding Must be able to safely operate hand power tools shop equipment to include metal shear metal brake drill press metal lathe plasma cutter oxy acetylene torch sanders etc. Able to weld in multiple positions flat vertical horizontal or overhead. Must be capable of reading blueprints specifications sketches work orders plan layout assembly and welding operations. Perform close tolerance to meet layout print specifications using calipers micrometers ect. as needed . Set up and operate welding fabricating equipment to perform jobs blueprints sketches or verbal orders. Examine parts for defects and measure parts to ensure conformance with specifications. Perform machining with lathe broaching tools drilling tapping and other machining functions. Maintain tools equipment in a safe clean and orderly manner including shop tools welding cutting gauges and welding equipment. Follow company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations. Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements

6 MONTHS INDUSTRIAL WELDING EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT EDUCATION
REHIRE CRITERIA: 90 DAYS WAITING PERIOD FROM MOST RECENT TERMINATION DATE, 3 TIMES RULE CANDIDATE NOT ELIGIBLE IF WORK FOR TYSON 3 TIMES ALREADY
