About The Position

This department is responsible for the physical operation of the campus. Maintenance is called upon to attend to the participant and staff housing; all classroom spaces; trash recyclables as well as the water and sewage systems. Maintenance also holds “night radio” for after-hours maintenance needs of the campus.

Requirements

Plumbing, automotive, or general maintenance experience.
Timely, reliable and service-oriented individual.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Team player.
Valid Driver’s License.
Alignment with Omega’s Mission, Goals and Core Values.

Responsibilities

Garbage and recycling pick-up.
Minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry work.
Housing duties such as changing lightbulbs, oiling doors, moving furniture in participant and staff housing.
Sweeping roadways.
Working with tools and machinery.
Regularly lifting/carrying/moving heavy items.
Possess a valid driver’s license, and operate motor vehicles as necessary.
Other duties as required by the supervisor.
