About The Position

This department is responsible for the physical operation of the campus. Maintenance is called upon to attend to the participant and staff housing; all classroom spaces; trash recyclables as well as the water and sewage systems. Maintenance also holds “night radio” for after-hours maintenance needs of the campus.

Requirements

  • Plumbing, automotive, or general maintenance experience.
  • Timely, reliable and service-oriented individual.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Alignment with Omega’s Mission, Goals and Core Values.

Responsibilities

  • Garbage and recycling pick-up.
  • Minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry work.
  • Housing duties such as changing lightbulbs, oiling doors, moving furniture in participant and staff housing.
  • Sweeping roadways.
  • Working with tools and machinery.
  • Regularly lifting/carrying/moving heavy items.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, and operate motor vehicles as necessary.
  • Other duties as required by the supervisor.
