About The Position

The Maintenance Coordinator will perform a wide range of administrative tasks requiring decision making and problem solving with moderate direction on behalf of the Facilities Team. The role requires the need to effectively communicate directly with the entire facilities staff and other functional managers within operations

Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline and 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Experience at this facility in this role is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Actively coordinate Facilities Projects
  • Perform Contractor Safety Management
  • Per requirements Process visitor notifications as required for Facilities Projects
  • Work with vendors to schedule work
  • Provide project status updates
  • Maintain detailed facilities equipment files
  • Prepare and publish facilities reports
  • Maintain department visual display board (Electronic Project Status)
  • Process work orders in SAP Plant Maintenance Module as required
  • Create/Modify Standard Process Instructions (SPI’s)
  • Responds to moderately complex email and phone inquiries.
  • Assists lower level staff in gathering, verifying and processing documentation.
  • May assist in recommending, developing and implementing new processes and analysis.
  • Performs data entry and other normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files, interviewing callers and making proper referrals, arranging meetings and conferences and receiving, referring or answering mail.
