We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Coordinator to help ensure our campus remains safe, comfortable, and operating at its very best. This key role partners closely with the Director of Campus Services to support maintenance operations, coordinate campus projects, and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance, plant operations, or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Clear communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Valley View

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited trade school
  • Experience with Department of Health Life Safety Code inspections

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental policies, procedures, and standards
  • Coordinate maintenance services across skilled nursing, personal care, and other departments
  • Support and guide maintenance team members, including scheduling and work assignments
  • Manage and assign work orders through TELS to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Participate in facility inspections, surveys, and plans of correction as needed
  • Help lead preventative maintenance programs and vendor service agreements
  • Serve on committees such as Infection Control, Safety, and Quality Assurance
  • Conduct daily rounds to ensure quality work and regulatory compliance
  • Provide input related to coaching and development of maintenance staff
  • Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information and follow all compliance policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
