CooperZadeh Property Management is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to support our growing Build-to-Rent (BTR) single-family rental portfolio. This role is a critical operational hub, coordinating communication between residents, maintenance technicians, vendors, and leadership to ensure maintenance requests are handled efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with company standards. Requirements

  • Prior experience in property management, maintenance coordination, or a related administrative/operations role
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-service mindset with a focus on delivering a WOW resident experience
  • Working knowledge of maintenance processes and vendor coordination
  • Proficiency with property management software; Yardi experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in urgent or high-volume situations
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Review, prioritize, and assign incoming maintenance work orders to ensure timely response and resolution
  • Schedule and dispatch in-house technicians and third-party vendors efficiently
  • Obtain vendor proposals and assist with cost comparisons to support responsible repair decisions
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with residents regarding scheduling, status updates, and issue resolution
  • Track work order progress, ensure proper documentation, and confirm completion prior to closing tickets
  • Coordinate turnover and make-ready scheduling in partnership with maintenance and vendor teams
  • Escalate emergency and safety-related issues promptly and in accordance with company protocols
  • Maintain accurate records within the property management system to support reporting and compliance
  • Support leadership with maintenance coordination tasks and process improvement initiatives as needed
