We are searching for the best talent for a Maintenance Coordinator . This position is under a Collective Bargaining Agreement in a union environment and the hourly rate is $28.34/hr The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activities for craft personnel, mechanics, electricians, and calibrations technicians.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of time in Class B Maintenance Coordinator position.
  • Certified in Advanced Planning Principles and Maintenance Planning certification through MRG course or other equivalent method.
  • Certified in Process Excellence through yellow belt or green belt.

Nice To Haves

  • Consideration for certification in CMRP through SMRP.
  • Continued demonstration of maintenance improvements through metric improvements or maintenance cost savings / process reliability improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Must read, interpret, and follow work instructions and training materials.
  • Pass and maintain training and certification examinations as required.
  • Review of work orders to identify all planned maintenance activities.
  • Research backlog work orders and identify those with available parts and resources.
  • Maintain an up to date backlog, ensuring that completed items are removed from the backlog in a timely manner.
  • Lead weekly cross-functional planning meeting to develop weekly master schedule.
  • Publish weekly schedule and communicate to manufacturing and craft facilitators.
  • Coordinate outages with other maintenance coordinators.
  • Develop and publish maintenance metrics.
  • Assist to resolve poor performing metrics.
  • Ability to review maintenance procedures and suggest / make improvements and additions.
  • Will act as a backup for other maintenance coordinators to cover absenteeism.
  • Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Maximo (CMMS).
  • Commit, drive and ensure compliance in accordance with Health Care Compliance Guidelines, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) responsibilities, Associate Training and Documentation Operating Procedure, and Records Management Compliance.
  • Comply with all applicable quality management system, environmental, safety and occupational health policies. (for example, ISO 13485, ISO14001 & OSHAS18001).
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
