About The Position

The Maintenance Coordinator has dual role responsibilities for Maintenance Inventory Planning and Parts Room Attendant for the effective planning and management of parts and critical spares inventory. This role ensures the maintenance team operates efficiently by providing the necessary resources and driving continuous improvement. Parts and Critical Spares Inventory Management: Maintain an organized and accurate inventory of parts and critical spares. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely reordering to avoid stock outs. Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy. Manage all inventory transactions to ensure they are properly recorded in the system. Identify obsolete or excess inventory and take appropriate actions for disposal or reallocation. Adhere to department budget and provide weekly reports to the department manager. Ordering Parts: order parts, materials, and equipment as needed for maintenance activities. Track orders and follow up with suppliers to resolve any delays or issues. Mechanical Assistance: Assist maintenance staff with mechanical repairs. Complete equipment PMs and other duties as assigned by management Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or technical certification in maintenance, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, inventory management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and inventory management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with maintenance teams and other departments.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment used in an industrial environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Strong focus on safety and compliance with company policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) is preferred.
