Provides maintenance and general administrative support to the LIFT Maintenance Department processing work orders and materials support. Assists in both material planning and scheduled maintenance planning. ESSENTIAL DUTIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Assists in material planning and coordinates ordering scheduled maintenance parts and supplies Creates work orders, sets priorities, and sends paperwork for each night’s scheduled work. Oversees maintenance plan and makes adjustments as necessary due to unexpected issues. Monitors airframe inspection compliance and component time changes and advises appropriate departments of change/inspection due. Reviews maintenance forecast daily and ensures tasks coming due are planned accordingly. Processes the work orders from the night before. Review and verify compliance on all maintenance-related tasks within FAA mandated time frames Performs receiving and inspection of aircraft parts Ensures that each part/tool/material is compliant with certification paperwork and is correctly saved, both physically and electronically. Ensures the stock room is neat and orderly Ship parts and packages to other locations as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE. High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year of related experience, in maintenance or a related area; preferably in airline operations or airline maintenance. Additional education may be substituted for the year of related experience. Working knowledge of maintenance and aircraft.
