As directed by the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor, the Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for all procurement activities, parts inventory, goods receiving and coordination/supervision of outside contractors for the maintenance department. The job will also include stockroom maintenance and control, where duties will mainly consist of organizing the stockroom, controlling inventory, and ensuring stock levels are adequate. The purchaser will be responsible for their own personal objectives which support the department and factory vision, preventative practices, relationships with all departments, safety and levels of quality. The candidate must also have a solid background and understanding of mechanical and electrical components, as well as possessing mechanical aptitude.
