About The Position

This is a working shop coordinator position, and in addition to daily maintenance responsibilities, the person in this position will coordinate the day to day activities within the Santa Fe Springs Plant maintenance department under the direction of the Operations Manager.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
Ability to effectively work in teams
Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
Ability to read a tape measure/ruler
Good mathematical skills

Responsibilities

Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
Assist in daily work order distribution and ongoing daily deployment of maintenance team
Conduct daily communication with crews and supervisors on emergency calls
Assist in PM development
Assist in prioritizing work orders/requests
Perform work order review and follow up
Perform ordering of parts and job planning
Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
