About The Position

As the Maintenance Coordinator , you will lead the maintenance team while ensuring the safety, quality, and productivity of the warehouse. Building on the responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and work at heights up to 60 feet. You will also prioritize tasks, coordinate team efforts, and foster a safety-first culture to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Requirements

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and teamwork.
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Mechanical aptitude and a strong understanding of mechanical systems in an industrial setting.
Commitment to promoting a positive workplace and safety-first culture.
Ability to work safely at heights up to 60 feet following fall arrest protocols and safety guidelines.
Employees must be at least 18 years old to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts and hoists.

Nice To Haves

Experience with or willingness to learn the use of material handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee the allocation of maintenance tasks, ensuring work is performed efficiently and according to established procedures.
Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize maintenance activities and meet operational goals.
Provide guidance, developmental feedback, and motivation to maintenance team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing to ensure effective use of maintenance tools and processes.
Assist with performance evaluations of maintenance staff, allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth operations, and address personnel issues or conflicts promptly and fairly.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing and replacing equipment, machinery, and warehouse infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse facilities to identify maintenance needs.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment and ensure their availability.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Ensure a safe working environment by upholding safety protocols and promoting a safety-first culture among all employees.
