About The Position
The Maintenance Coordinator at Kraft Heinz Foods Company plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Muscatine Manufacturing Plant, which is known for producing iconic products such as Heinz Ketchup and Heinz Homestyle Gravy. This full-time position offers a starting pay of $25 per hour, with overtime eligibility, and benefits that commence after 30 days of employment. The work schedule is set for first shift hours, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for bonuses available. In this role, the Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations within the SAP system. This includes reviewing and processing work requests, completing work order closeout documentation, and managing the work order backlog. The coordinator will also participate in rail meetings and ensure the accuracy of the Billing of Materials (BOMs). Scheduling duties are a significant part of the role, which involves routing schedules for input and approval by the Production Manager and Maintenance Supervisors, actively participating in regular work forecasts, and preparing a draft schedule weekly based on work order priorities and carry-over work. Additionally, the Maintenance Coordinator will maintain plant and equipment records of maintenance actions, distribute reports and documentation as required, and work closely with stockroom personnel to verify the availability of parts and materials. This includes sourcing parts from other factories as needed and preparing requisitions for on-site contractor support while ensuring adherence to company policies during on-site activities. The role may also involve coordinating services from third-party vendors as necessary.
