About The Position

Draslovka is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our production team! This position will report directly to the Powerhouse Area Manager in our Memphis, TN location. The Maintenance Coordinator - Power is responsible to coordinate all work between production and maintenance. The Maintenance Coordinator communicates and liaises to bridge gaps and drive overall business-related decisions related to maintenance activities. They are responsible to make decisions and commitments to work groups regarding the availability and preparation of equipment, establish work schedules, prioritize activities of one or more work groups and is to ensure that work is completed as directed. The role uses their understanding of the maintenance procedures and the production area process to provide analysis, give instructions, plan, compile information, and work with the maintenance organization to coordinate efforts. Draws upon significant past experiences in maintenance and in the area to make appropriate business-based decisions. Has responsibility for assessing the quality, robustness, and capability of the process and making decisions with others to halt or modify production as needed should the process not meet the quality and/or safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proficient in SAP transactions
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 to 5 years of experience in Maintenance or Operations Background
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple, complex, time-sensitive projects
  • Demonstrated skill in leadership, team building and achieving results through influence and negotiation.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Must work well in both self-managed and team environment.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of plant operations.
  • Ability to access and network with appropriate site and corporate teams to gain or share knowledge.
  • Self-management skills with strong initiative.
  • Demonstrated skill to diagnose and solve problems.
  • Ability to develop data-driven solutions.
  • Provide leadership skills and able to listen to team members' input to make recommendations aligned with production and business goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Boiler or plant utility experience
  • BS degree in Engineering or Supply Chain/Logistics
  • Management experience
  • Work Management Process (WMP) understanding

Responsibilities

  • Support and influence site Zero Leak strategy execution
  • Willingness to work abnormal work hours and respond to short notice needs
  • Ability to manage and organize high volumes of information to manage work accomplishment
  • Participate in incident investigations
  • PSM/MIQA – Implement system for tests, inspections, repairs, and records
  • Coach work notification expectations
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work and work with minimal supervision
  • Lead the weekly scheduling meeting and liaison information
  • Assigning and monitoring work
  • Prioritizing work and meeting work schedules
  • Understand standard procedures, equipment and materials related to the operation and maintenance of the manufacturing facility
  • Safety management practices and principles related to manufacturing facilities
  • Prepare and drive maintenance activities for outages/turnarounds
  • Financially authorize and release work orders that have been prioritized by Production Manager
  • Verify equipment readiness before deployment of maintenance resources on day of scheduled work execution
