About The Position

A Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and organizing maintenance activities within a geographical area. Reporting to the Regional Maintenance Director, your primary role is vendor scheduling, following up on maintenance work orders, and communicating with the maintenance team onsite. This position is primarily administrative focus.

Requirements

  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Computer literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products and internet navigation skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive attitude
  • 2+ years of Multifamily Property Management experience
  • Administrative experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual a plus

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and follow up on maintenance work requests
  • Communicate with Property owners, tenants, vendors, and maintenance technicians
  • Communicate and partner with property maintenance team experts to maximize efficiency
  • Ensure outstanding client relations and service (owners and residents)
  • Work with vendors involving work orders and accountability
  • Maintaining inventory of shop supplies
  • Order and track maintenance supply orders
  • Vendor management through the internal vendor credentialing system
  • Manage payables for maintenance orders
  • Schedules preventative maintenance and records such activities
