About The Position

Kern Health Systems is dedicated to improving the health status of our members through an integrated managed health care delivery system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform general maintenance services as assigned. These duties include but are not limited to conducting daily facilities inspections, performing general building maintenance and upkeep, moving office furniture, room set-up for meetings, etc. Research information for ordering materials and items. Interact with vendors and contractors regarding services and repairs. Operate a variety of office machines such as, computers, copiers, telephones, etc.Makes deliveries and runs errands as needed. Maintain departmental inventories. Act as departmental liaison where appropriate. Assist with organizing internal and external events and meetings.Support mailroom operations. Assist management staff and other departments in completing special projects, as assigned. Adhere to all company policies and procedures relative to employment and job responsibilities. Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma from an accredited school or Equivalent.
  • 1 years’ experience performing building maintenance, inventory practices, record keeping, and general office practices.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Basic plumbing knowledge and application.
  • Able to complete handyman-related tasks.
