Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Perform routine machine cleaning to maintain cleanliness and functionality.
  • Remove chips and debris from machines and work areas to prevent disruptions to production.
  • Clean dust collectors and maintain proper ventilation systems to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage the removal of recyclable materials, including plastics, metals, and cardboard, according to company recycling policies.
  • Schedule pickups of waste oils and scrap materials for proper disposal or recycling.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
  • Collaborate with maintenance team members and other departments to address maintenance issues and support production goals.
  • Complete documentation and maintain records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment logs.
  • Conform to ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device industry requirements
  • Ensure safety standards are used which comply with all company, Local, City, State and Federal guidelines
  • Other work-related tasks as assigned
