About The Position

The position involves ensuring safety as a top priority in all Power and Control Engineering initiatives. The role includes providing on-site support, expertise, and leadership for electrical and controls specific engineering and maintenance topics. The individual will assist in coaching and developing the plant maintenance team, building skills through training programs, and helping plant personnel with the operation and troubleshooting of the AZO Processing System. The role also requires working with plant associates to reduce material losses while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The individual will coach teams to facilitate problem-solving efforts and must demonstrate strong electrical and controls technical skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of successful power and control experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in controls and electrical systems technologies.
  • Strong electrical and controls technical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple, complex priorities.
  • Understanding of AM, FI, EM, and PM pillar tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a variety of manufacturing areas (packaging, processing, warehousing) within consumer products.
  • Food background preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading meetings and problem-solving events.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety is a top priority in all Power and Control Engineering initiatives.
  • Provide on-site support and expertise for electrical and controls engineering and maintenance.
  • Assist in coaching and developing the plant maintenance team.
  • Help plant personnel with the Theory of Operation, Operation, and Troubleshooting of the AZO Processing System.
  • Work with plant associates to reduce material losses while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Coach and lead teams to facilitate formal problem-solving efforts.
