Why you'll love this job The Maintenance Control Technician provides technical direction to the Aircraft Maintenance Organization. Responsible for being a key reason why friends, family, and customers of American Airlines fly safely and on time. The Maintenance Control Technician (MCT) provides the central point of contact to coordinate aircraft maintenance for all locations and supports the minute-to-minute operation of the fleet to which he is assigned. You will survey and analyze mechanical and operational performance of assigned fleet(s) or system(s). You will provide technical evaluation and recommendations for resolution of maintenance problems including but not limited to: oversight and coordination; communication with employees and/or vendors both inside and outside the Company.
