The Maintenance Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring the consistent application of LFN’s maintenance quality standards and the adherence to LFN’s policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Five years recent experience as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certification
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Five years’ FAR 135 turbine rotorcraft maintenance experience
  • Ability to work evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
  • Analytical abilities sufficient to handle complex technical and administrative matters and take initiative, creating, implementing and improving processes and policies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization

Nice To Haves

  • Three years’ experience working for an EMS helicopter program preferred
  • Maintenance experience on BH407, BH429, AW119, EC135 and PC12 aircraft preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Ramco

Responsibilities

  • Determine and communicate status of aircraft airworthiness
  • Perform audits of maintenance logbook entries, work packages generated by field maintenance to ensure adherence to LFN’s policies and regulatory requirements
  • Act as a liaison between management and technicians to ensure accurate, compliant and complete logbook documentation
  • Assist the Maintenance Control Manager in the development of improved methods and procedures for the performance of quality assurance functions
  • Assist in the maintenance of in-house technical publication library; ensure technicians have access to publications as required
  • Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Control Manager
