The Maintenance Clerk will be responsible for supporting multiple grocery store locations by performing routine maintenance tasks, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Essential Functions of the Position: Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and equipment upkeep. Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Inspection and Reporting: Conduct regular inspections of store facilities to identify maintenance needs. Report any significant maintenance issues or potential hazards to the Maintenance Manager promptly. Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Order and restock supplies as needed to ensure that all stores have the necessary materials for routine upkeep. Support Services: Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for special events or promotions. Provide support for emergency maintenance situations as required. Maintain a valid driver’s license for insurability and travel between store sites. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and supply inventory. Update maintenance logs and submit reports to the Maintenance Manager regularly. Collaboration: Work closely with store managers and staff to coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting store operations. Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders by addressing maintenance concerns promptly and effectively.
