About The Position

We are seeking a Maintenance Clerk to join our team! Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Clerk has the responsibility to assist in monitoring of the shift to include, but not limited to, work orders, parts inventory, and productivity. Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing with your manager, other managers, coworkers, and outside vendors.

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma preferred.
At least one (1) years of relevant experience preferred.
Experience with standard office equipment (computers, phones, and photocopiers) preferred.
Intermediate Computer, Microsoft Office and Outlook skills preferred.
Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Nice To Haves

Relevant Food Manufacturing or packaging experience a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Experience with manufacturing equipment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Must possess strong, professional communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize/execute multiple concurrent tasks.

Responsibilities

Processing of all work orders.
Managing stock inventory, ordering non-stock inventory.
Purchasing maintenance items.
Handling scheduling of preventative maintenance Items.
Assisting maintenance technicians with part sourcing.
Maintaining preferred vendors.
Tracking downtime issues dealing with maintenance related items.
Picking up parts from local suppliers when needed.
Creating preventative maintenance lists with new assets/equipment.
Managing consumable items used by maintenance technicians.
Use independent judgment to develop creative solutions to problems that arise.
Identify problem areas, make suggestions, and assist in implementing solutions in conjunction with your manager.
