About The Position

The Maintenance Clerk is responsible for managing parts room operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting maintenance and production teams with materials and documentation. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient operations through strong organization, communication, and adherence to 5S and inventory control processes.

Requirements

• high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• strong communication and organizational skills
• forklift experience
• experience working in a maintenance parts room or inventory environment

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue parts across all Parts Rooms
• Maintain stockroom organization and uphold 5S standards
• Ensure accurate inventory levels across all Parts Rooms
• Receive incoming packages and enter data into CMMS MVP Plant system
• Verify quantities, label, and store inventory in appropriate locations
• Match purchase orders with packing lists and maintain proper documentation
• Support internal teams with timely and accurate handling of incoming materials
• Maintain accountability for all inventory and parts room functions
• Perform cycle counts to ensure physical inventory matches system records
• Support maintenance teams with materials needed for production and repairs
• Assist Accounting with inventory-related inquiries
• Report all food safety violations to management
• Support off-shift, weekend, or overtime needs as required
• Participate in Global Performance System (GPS) activities
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
