About the position

Join our team as a Maintenance Clerk, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal coordination of parts and materials. Responsibilities include processing purchase orders, receiving products and maintaining parts inventory and more. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. Bring your expertise and tools to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. This position has an hourly rate which is based on experience and skill set. This role offers competitive pay starting at $24.00 per hour, based on experience and skills. The shift time for this role is Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm CST, required weekend overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities.
  • Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records.
  • Reviews production schedules and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements.
  • Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments.
  • Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
  • Computes the amount of material required to complete job orders.
  • May move or transport materials from one department to another.
  • May arrange for repair and assembly of material or part.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on parts inventory and receiving materials or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work in an industrial, non-climate-controlled environment and navigate stairs, ladders, and confined spaces while using appropriate safety equipment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
