About The Position
Performs certified welding and fabrication tasks to maintain, repair, and modify production and utility equipment in a batch specialty chemical plant. Ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4 - 6 years Job Experience
- Proficiency in TIG, MIG, Stick welding
- pipe fitting
- blueprint reading
- weld inspection
- Familiarity with hot work permitting, confined space entry, and hazardous materials handling
- Basic CMMS usage for work order documentation (e.g., SAP PM)
- Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
