About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: To provide the services of the maintenance requirements of the plant. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs required maintenance activities. Troubleshoots and repairs with minimum supervision all plant equipment such as power presses, welders, power hand tools, lift trucks, spray paint equipment, heating and cooling systems and other assignments as required. Assists in installing new equipment, moves equipment and repair of plumbing. Must be able to do all maintenance type welding. Conducts preventative maintenance programs as established by the Company. Applies all phases of electrical wiring, bot A.C. & D.C. voltages. Requires having completed a 2-year apprenticeship or equivalent in one of the maintenance trades such as electrical. Must be capable at working heights above the floor level. Required to have all hand tools necessary to perform assigned work. Capable of reading complex blueprints and electrical wiring diagrams. Must be familiar with the National Electrical Code. Requires workmanship type work to assure the safety of others. Required to follow all the safety rules and practices by Company and OSHA regulations. In addition, maintain a safe, clean and orderly hazardless work area. Promotes safety at all times and have knowledge of all safety rules, seeing that work is done in a safe manner. Comply with the Quality and Environmental policies and all required documentation. Does other tasks as required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school graduate. Experience in industry and management skills. Core competency in areas being supervised. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Two-year apprenticeship or equivalent in journeyman experience. Knowledge of blueprint and specification interpretation. Capable of reading and interpreting wiring diagrams. ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Conform to all Wayne Metals, LLC environmental policies, programs and procedures. Conform to all State of In Report any environmental concerns to supervisor, Environmental Management Representative, or the Plant manager. Work with the EMR and other staff to reduce pollution Ensure continuous improvement in the operation Motivate train and inform Wayne Metals employees regarding the EMS Recommend strategic directions for the EMS Sustain Wayne Metals environmental protection policy

Requirements
