About The Position

SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall maintenance, plumbing, cleanliness and electrical components of the building and grounds. Performs all functions in accordance with applicable gaming laws and regulations, as well as Sac & Fox Casino’s established policies, procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The following is a list of the main duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as necessary by your supervisor/manager. 1. Performs routine and emergency maintenance on systems and equipment as required. 2. Troubleshoots and takes corrective action to ensure structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration operate as needed. 3. Takes steps to maintain and clean all assigned areas within the physical structure of the building, outside grounds, parking areas, casino floor space, public areas space and utility systems. Paints interior and exterior of facilities 4. Uses equipment and supplies as required ensuring cleanliness. Provides excellent service to both internal and external customers, maintains a standard of excellence. 5. Must be knowledgeable and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures and internal controls. 6. Must not exceed the attendance requirements under the current Attendance Policy. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in building maintenance or related field and trouble shooting equipment problems.
  • Demonstrates the ability to read and understand blue prints, building codes and safety regulations.
  • Understanding of the safe use of equipment and chemicals used in cleaning.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • The ability to read English and understand either written or verbal instructions.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret simple documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from fellow employees or supervisors.
  • Be able to read and understand on-going casino promotions and be able to explain promotions to customers if asked.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
  • Ability to see problems and avoid situations that could be deemed illegal or represent a safety hazard to fellow employees or customers.
  • The ability to follow complex instructions and ability to perform assigned tasks under limited supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred two years of experience in maintenance or commonly used practices in the field.
