About The Position

This position will assist journeymen-level mechanical maintenance craftsmen in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Eligible for employment in the US
  • Must have one of the following: One (1) year experience in any of the following Maintenance Skill Areas: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, LUBRICATION, WELDING, AUTOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE, or PIPEFITTING; OR One (1) year vocational/technical education in the Maintenance Disciplines: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, LUBRICATION, WELDING, AUTOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE, or PIPEFITTING
  • Must be willing to meet the following requirements: Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection) Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment Undergo a job related health assessment as a condition of employment Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis Wear required safety equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or certification(s) in any IP Core Maintenance Skills or related disciplines (Millwright, Machinist, Lubrication, Welding, Automotive Maintenance, or Pipefitting)
  • Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with: Pump repair and replacement Repacking pumps and valves Rigging Repairing mechanical drive systems, rotating assemblies Bearing installation, maintenance, and replacement Replacing motors, valves, and gaskets Replacing and repairing cylinders Production machine/equipment maintenance Rotating equipment Reading and interpreting blueprints, tables, graphs, and diagrams Industrial safety procedures and equipment Gear reducers Oil seals Basic welding Forklift operation Gears Roll repair and replacement Hydraulics/Pneumatics Knowledge of mobile equipment Product moving systems Installing screw pipe and tubing Steel fabrication Pipefitting Maintenance-related computers and software Facility maintenance and repairs Servicing vehicles
