Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift, bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time with no restrictions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Some Previous Maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical or HVAC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in repairs to buildings, furniture, doors, door locks, windows, walls, floors, ceilings, roofs.
  • Assist in maintaining facility grounds, including mowing: weed eating, picking up debris on a daily basis, trimming.
  • Complete drywall installation and repairs.
  • Be responsible for moving of furniture for offices and homes.
  • Assist in other shops and perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.
  • Schedule work so to least interfere with the individuals that live here.
  • Responsible for keeping all parts and tools in possession till work is completed.
  • Learn and follow all policies and procedures.
  • Inspects and checks for the working performance of equipment in Hazelwood buildings. Works from work order system.
  • Preforms preventative maintenance and completes PM documentation to assigned areas.
  • Assists in snow removal as needed.
  • Keeps work areas clean, organized.
  • Keeps an inventory of tools and supplies.
  • Repairs or assists with repairs to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Will be on call for a week at a time, on a rotating basis.
