Maintenance Associate (Part Time, Flexible Schedule)

For the Maintenance Associate, this means ensuring the entire store is clean, safe, and well-maintained, addressing issues promptly, and supporting a welcoming environment for both customers and employees through consistent upkeep and care.
Requirements
- Keeping a clean and safe environment to shop and work in
- Assisting customers at any moment when needed
- Ability to demonstrate and set the example for Adams culture and values
- Willingness to work collaboratively and communicate with a team of co-workers and managers
- Exhibit enthusiasm, positivity and/or knowledge about Adams products and quality
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, helpful service and assist customers when needed, including loading heavy items
- Keep store floors and walkways clean and safe by sweeping, mopping, handling spills, and using wet floor signs
- Maintain clean and stocked bathrooms at all times
- Remove carts from the parking lot and take out garbage as needed
- Perform general property upkeep, including shoveling, salting, sanding, and basic landscaping
- Complete additional cleaning or maintenance tasks IF assigned, including using a floor scrubber or making local customer deliveries
