We are seeking a Maintenance Associate to support the daily upkeep of our senior living and nursing facility. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in building maintenance, including HVAC support, plumbing repairs, and general mechanical work, under the guidance of experienced maintenance professionals. You will play an important role in ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Interest in building maintenance, facilities, or skilled trades
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Professional, respectful demeanor when working around residents and staff

Nice To Haves

  • Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with routine maintenance and repairs throughout the senior living and nursing building
  • Support basic HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical tasks under supervision
  • Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform preventive maintenance and regular inspections of building areas
  • Assist with room setups, furniture moves, and minor repairs
  • Help maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a safe and organized condition
  • Respond professionally to maintenance requests from residents and staff
  • Follow safety guidelines, infection control standards, and facility policies
