About The Position

Maintenance Associate/Lubrication Technician | Now Hiring | Santa Fe Springs, CA Compensation Includes: Starting range of $20.66 - $27.31/hour - paid weekly Available Shift: 1st shift 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Rotating two days off

Requirements

  • Ability to perform strenuous work
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions from equipment manuals.
  • Ability to perform complicated maintenance repairs individually by contacting SME & without close supervision.
  • Ability to establish an effective working relationship with other employees
  • A strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of electrical repairs and duties.
  • Experience in using all common hand and power tools
  • Skills to service and provide general building maintenance
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • HS Diploma or equivalency
  • Must have no more than 4 attendance points
  • Must not have a step 2 disciplinary action within the last year
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Frequently required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Use of hands and arms to handle tools, operate machinery, and perform maintenance tasks with precision.
  • Comfortable working in a variety of environmental conditions, including hot, cold, wet, dusty, or noisy areas.
  • Visual acuity to read technical documents, safety warnings, and perform detailed inspections.
  • Ability to respond to auditory signals, alarms, and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the task.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with Thermoforming machines preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inventory and manage routine ordering of products
  • Stock and organize inventory locations
  • Utilize tools and equipment for routine and non-routine lubrication functions
  • Drain and clean reservoirs
  • Perform mechanical modifications to systems as directed to support sampling, filtration, and proactive improvements
  • Fill and top off reservoirs
  • Change filters and breathers on reservoirs
  • Operate filtration equipment
  • Perform grease lubrication using both manual and automatic dispensing equipment
  • Schedule, collect, label, and ship samples for analysis
