About The Position

Church of the Resurrection is seeking a part-time Maintenance Associate. This
role is responsible for planning and managing all aspects of maintenance for the
parish buildings and property and ensures all interiors and exteriors are clean,
well maintained and safe. Duties include but are not limited to:

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have basic maintenance skills with an understanding of cleaning equipment and tools.
• Previous work experience as a maintenance worker, custodian, or janitor.
• Understanding of safety protocols, safe work environments, security, and disposal of hazardous items.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to climb, bend, kneel, stretch, reach.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Physically capable of climbing ladders in a safe manner.
• Self-motivated individual able to work independently.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule to include some weekends.
• Must pass Level II FDLE background check .
• Valid drivers license.
• Must pass a post offer physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Develops schedules for building maintenance, cleaning, sanitation, ordering of supplies and general upkeep of parish property.
• Performs routine electrical, lighting, plumbing, painting, carpentry repairs, security systems, irrigation systems etc.
• Provides general oversight of all contracts and activities pertaining to plant operations including routine maintenance, new construction, renovation, remodeling and any special services.
• Responds to emergency calls 24 hours a day.
• Responsible for building campus fire and security operations.
• Performs recording keeping activities.
• Other duties as assigned by Pastor or Business manager.
