MISSION / SUMMARY: Position leads daily electrical maintenance activity in support of (2) paper machines. JOB FUNCTION: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following. The Maintenance Associate Manager directly supervises 15 - 20 hourly employees and must possess the ability to manage by key performance indicators. This role actively leads and participates in plant safety, housekeeping, 5S and lean manufacturing programs by ensuring goals are met within the department. The Maintenance Associate Manager will be responsible for efficient preventive maintenance work scheduling and execution to optimize equipment. The Maintenance Associate Manager will also be responsible for the coordination with production colleagues to eliminate equipment failures, root cause failure analysis participation, and compliance with all required Environmental, Health and Safety rules and regulations. Safe work exectution will be promoted through dialy safety briefing with the crew, monthy safety meetings, and ensuring the crew receives all required safety training. The manager will be required to perform rotating weekly maintenance on-call duty for the entire mill. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of electrical maintenance supervisory experience in related industries is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
