Maintenance Associate Ill - 1st Shift
About The Position
Position Summary Install, maintain and repair electrical components of industrial equipment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Support and adhere to Parker's Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures and observe guidelines. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed: Essential Functions: Install, and repair electrical equipment, parts and control panels and bend conduit, pull wire and design electrical systems. Perform preventative maintenance on all production machinery. Operate tools near electrical components. Ability to trouble shoot control systems required. Disassemble machines and perform necessary repairs using hand tools. Replace broken or defective parts. Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment. Perform quality testing and inspections on electrical equipment. Requirements
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- 2-5 years of related experience.
- Ability to understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, or instructions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to accept and implement feedback.
- Ability to trouble shoot control systems required.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
- Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, such as heavy lifting, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
- Ability to determine load and load limits on electrical services.
- Excellent attendance.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations.
- Must be professional, technical and mechanically proficient.
Nice To Haves
- PLC knowledge preferred, but not required.
