About The Position

Employees at this level have obtained advanced knowledge of the maintenance process. They exhibit leadership and competency in key areas of our processes. These employees focus on maintaining high quality standards in their daily work but have an increased focus on development of lower level employees. Also there is an expectation of quality improvement observations on a regular basis as well as focus on increasing production throughput.

Responsibilities

• Identifies continuous improvement opportunities on a regular basis
• Demonstrates ability to perform very specialized and key tasks (i.e. grinding room, major equipment replacement, process improvement, computer controls, etc.)
• Ensure high productivity from maintenance department employees on a daily basis.
• Mentors less experienced employees and provides constructive feedback on a regular basis
• Identifies in a timely manner mechanical breakdowns and take appropriate corrective action
• Arrives on time ready to begin working at assigned work center.
• Maintains an excellent attendance record
• Displays excellent Interpersonal Skills (positive attitude, team player, leadership, mentorship, etc.)
• Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor
