About The Position

Pactiv Evergreen is seeking a Maintenance Associate II to join our team in Conyers, GA. This position offers a competitive starting pay range of $29.85-$33.58 per hour, with additional benefits such as a $2 shift differential and eligibility for monthly bonuses based on plant productivity. The available shifts are 1st shift (07:00 AM-07:00 PM) and 2nd shift (07:00 PM-07:00 AM), working 12-hour shifts on a 2/2/3 schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment efficiently to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technician experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
• Experience with VFDs, servo motors, and PLCs.
• Ability to troubleshoot high-voltage systems up to 480 Volt 3-phase power.
• Ability to test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred associate's degree.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment when breakdowns occur.
• Install replacement parts as needed from on-site stock room.
• Inspect all equipment periodically to ensure proper operation.
• Replace items such as pumps, motors, drive chains, and electrical components.
• Help with total preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance work on automation/production equipment.
• Utilize computer-based inventory systems for generating reports.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Assist maintenance/production staff as needed.
• Train other employees as necessary.
