About The Position

Amira Choice of Roseville on Cleveland is a beautiful, well-designed senior living community that offers the highest level of distinction for our residents. We offer 80 senior units with a mix of Independent/Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. Our community is adjacent to both Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN and is near public transportation making it a convenient location for our employees. We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our senior living team. This position will monitor preventative maintenance programs and repair building systems and equipment. They will also train other building staff, as needed, on basic trouble-shooting of building systems and equipment. The schedule includes;
casual / on call
day shift
Weekends as needed

Requirements

• Current Driver’s License (in good standing)
• Experience with mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems
• One to three years of previous experience

Nice To Haves

• High school Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Basic maintenance and safety awareness
• Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, staff, vendors, visitors and supervisors.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Ability to respond to tenant/visitor/staff medical emergencies in accordance with facility guidelines.
