Maintenance Assistant - Florence Home
About The Position
We are seeking talented individuals to join our care giving team at Florence Home. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will: Repair drywall and paint as needed or at the direction of your supervisor Maintain building grounds, including lawn care, snow removal and general outdoor upkeep Perform maintenance tasks for all buildings, equipment and grounds including basic plumbing and electrical repair Cooperate to ensure that maintenance staff is on call 24 hours a day. Go above and beyond your assigned duties to help with any reasonable resident or teammate request We require our Maintenance Assistants to: Have prior experience in drywall repair, painting and general maintenance and have knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical repair, and use of grounds care equipment Be able to lift 75 pounds from ground to waist level and able to push or pull 100 pounds. Be able to fluently read, write, speak and understand English Have a high school diploma or equivalent Have a valid in good standing driver’s license and a clean criminal record Arrive on time and work as scheduled Note: This job description may not encompass all the duties required for this position. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
