About The Position

The Maintenance Assistant assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds ensuring a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for our residents, staff and the public. Requirements

  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. Values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence) to residents, family members, customers and staff
  • Possess physical abilities including stamina, strength and endurance to provide maintenance services
  • Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents through a supportive presence
  • Ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents through teamwork
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Prior maintenance experience preferred
  • Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful
