About The Position

The Maintenance Assistant assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds ensuring a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for our residents, staff and the public. Requirements

Demonstrates C.A.R.E. Values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence) to residents, family members, customers and staff
Possess physical abilities including stamina, strength and endurance to provide maintenance services
Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents through a supportive presence
Ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents through teamwork
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

Prior maintenance experience preferred
Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful
