About The Position

The primary responsibility of Maintenance Assistant is to ensure all vacated apartments are thoroughly restored to market ready status, and that service requests are completed in a timely manner. Assumes the responsibilities of the Lead Maintenance in their absence. This property is located at 2105 Parker Lane Austin TX 78741 Possible Sign On Bonus of $500

Requirements

2-4 years of practical experience with demonstration of required skills
Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations
Make-ready experience helpful with good understanding of pools, plumbing, electrical, etc.

Nice To Haves

Fair housing training and certification for Apartment Maintenance Technician
Additional Certifications (i.e. HVAC)
Knowledge of OSHA requirements

Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor parts, supplies and equipment inventory.
Provide support to all other maintenance staff
Participate in quarterly property inspections
Remove trash from outside each shift
Assist Lead Maintenance, as needed.
Clean vacant apartments
Provide excellent customer service to all residents
May be required to work at other Foundation Communities properties in the Austin area as needed
Required to be on call
