The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for facility service requests, building maintenance, emergency repairs, and vehicle fleet maintenance. Must exercise reasonable and professional discretion and independent judgment with respect to the timely, efficient, proper, and cost-effective maintenance of BCLs facilities. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Responsible for routine, preventative and emergency maintenance on all agency vehicles, as directed by the Facilities Manager. Prioritize assigned work orders to complete in a timely manner. Immediately report assessments and safety concerns to the Facilities Manager. Pick up and/or transport vehicles as needed. Travel between agency locations. Access and ready agency email account at least weekly. Assists with regular maintenance and emergencies regarding agency vehicles. Maintain a professional, safe, and clean work environment Comply with OSHA Safety policies and regulations.
